Our story
DC Productions and Entertainment was founded by two DJs with two careers behind the decks. Co-founder DJ Emer holds a residency at Lotus Bar inside Rivers Casino in Des Plaines. Co-founder DJ Dee started at 15 at Chicago's legendary Hip House Records, spinning house parties and cutting his first official mix at 16.
Years in clubs and at parties taught us the most important skill in this business: reading a room and giving it exactly what it needs next.
That instinct goes into every private event. Chicago house and stepping for the grown-and-sexy crowd, deep house and Nu-Disco for the dance floor, reggaeton for the late-night run, and timeless R&B and Motown for the family, all mixed live and paced around your timeline.

The talent
Two DJs, one standard: read the room and keep the floor full.
Co-founder · Lead DJ & MC
DJ Emer co-founded DC Productions and Entertainment and holds a residency at Lotus Bar inside Rivers Casino in Des Plaines. Club nights taught the skill that matters most at any event: reading a room and giving it exactly what it needs next.
Known for Chicago house and stepping sets, late-night reggaeton runs, and timeless R&B and Motown for the whole family, all mixed live and paced around your timeline.
Co-founder · Deep house & Nu-Disco
A co-founder of DC Productions and Entertainment, San Diego resident DJ Dee is a Chicago-bred DJ mixing feel-good, chill tunes. His passion for turntablism began at the early age of 15 when he started working at Chicago's legendary Hip House Records. Inspired by Chi-town's own Bad Boy Bill and DJ Speed, he started spinning at house parties, making his first official mix at 16.
Captivated by Chicago's deep house music scene, he fell in love with the mixed disco tunes and Europop beat. And with the rise of EDM, along with his true love for deep house, he brings his mixes to the 21st century in the newly created music genre, Nu-Disco.
